Come on down to see George and make some “History” yourself. We would love to have you visit us
The Secret to Success
Revana’s success began with those wonderful family recipes that were passed on when the business changed hands in 1975. However, there’s more than recipes to this story. The highest quality food, reasonable prices, immaculately clean and comfortable restaurants, genuinely friendly service, and a written corporate creed which says that “community service is as important as the quality of the food”, have helped keep Revana’s tremendously popular.
Our Crust
Our crust is made simply with un-bromated, all-natural flour, yeast, water and salt and is opened and stretched entirely by hand. The result is a crust that is thin on the inside and thick and airy on the ends creating the “cornicione”. Once thrown into our flaming oven the air bubbles blacken and blister peppering the flavor of the pizza. The fire and stone makes for a crisp pizza but not a cracker crust. Revana pizza is best eaten uncut and with a fork and a serrated knife. Since Revana pizza is made with fresh mozzarella, crushed tomatoes and extra virgin olive oil it is best described as wet.
From the moment you walk into one of our establishments you will notice the differences that set us apart from other eateries. Starting with the quaint atmosphere at Dartmouth, the feeling of relaxation begins the second you enter one of our restaurants. Whether the aroma of our fresh baked breads, the smell of simmering sauce or the scent of the fresh garlic sautéing in olive oil something tells you that you are about to have a truly authentic Italian experience that is sure to delight you from entrance to exit.
